In the January-February period of 2021, total production decreased by 6,5 percent and automobile production by 16 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. During this period, total production was 222 units and automobile production was 264 units.
In the January-February period of 2021, the total market increased by 38 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 136 thousand 882 units. In this period, the automobile market increased by 34 percent and was 80 thousand 107 units.
In the commercial vehicle group, production increased by 2021 percent in the January-February period of 14, while it increased by 55 percent in the heavy commercial vehicle group and by 12 percent in the light commercial vehicle group. Compared to the January-February period of 2020, the commercial vehicle market increased by 53 percent, the light commercial vehicle market by 51 percent and the heavy commercial vehicle market by 61 percent.
In the January-February period of 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, total automotive exports decreased by 14 percent on unit basis and automobile exports by 27 percent. During this period, total exports were 165 thousand 476 units, while automobile exports were 98 thousand 433 units.
In the January-February period of 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, total automotive exports decreased by 3 percent on dollar basis and 12 percent on euro basis compared to the same period of the previous year. During this period, total automotive exports were $ 4,9 billion, while automobile exports decreased by 22 percent to $ 1,6 billion. Automobile exports in Euro terms decreased by 29 percent to 1,4 Billion €.
