Serial Production of PARS 6 × 6 SCOUT Vehicle Starts

With the initiation of the tender for the development of Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle in line with the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces by the Presidency of Defense Industry (SSB), FNSS has already signed the contract, in order to show the vehicle concept that will best meet the project requirements, with its own resources, PARS 6 × 6 He designed and developed the SCOUT vehicle. PARS 6 × 6 SCOUT, which is a product of FNSS R&D studies, stands out as a more suitable vehicle for exploration and surveillance missions with its improved situational awareness and high personnel comfort it provides.

The ÖMTTZA project, which has a 36-month project schedule in total, is planned to deliver 1 vehicles within 100 year.

PARS SCOUT, which is the first 6 × 6 and 8 × 8 armored vehicle family to enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces with the Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle contract signed by FNSS with SSB, has a high localization rate, in line with the project objectives, FNSS It was designed by engineers. The vehicle can be configured for potential needs.

Localization studies

Special efforts have been made to localize the vehicle's subsystem. With R&D projects, products that will increase the localization rate of the vehicle have been developed and all tests have been carried out for the developed domestic subsystems. PARS İZCİ, in which effective cooperation is carried out with subcontractors in the development of its subsystems, is a candidate to be an exemplary project in cooperation with subcontractors within the defense industry ecosystem.

The 6 × 6 configuration, which provides all-wheel drive, provides high tactical mobility in the field. With its fully independent hydropneumatic suspension system and central tire inflation system with the highest wheel travel movement in its class, the PARS SCOUT provides the user with operational comfort in different terrain conditions, while providing the opportunity to travel with a flat tire with solid discs placed in the wheels. The family of vehicles, which can pass through the watery openings by pressing, can also gain the ability to swim, thanks to the optional amphibious feature.

FNSS once again demonstrated the competencies of Turkish engineers in the design process of the PARS İZCİ vehicle family, and the strength of the local supply chain, as well as their own capabilities during the development process. Thanks to the ongoing cooperation with local subcontractors, it has proven its claim in domestic and national vehicle development by keeping accessibility for spare parts at the highest level, as well as offering a cost effective life cycle with the highest localization rate in its class.

Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle (ÖMTTZA) Project

Within the scope of the Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle (ÖZMTTZA) Project, the ability to perform tactical reconnaissance, surveillance and CBRN reconnaissance missions is to ensure that the information obtained is completely and genuinely zamFNSS of 100X30 and 45X15 armored vehicles (5 command, 5 sensor reconnaissance, 6 radar, 6 CBRN reconnaissance and 8 armored combat vehicles for the J.Gn.
