Full points and fuel saving advice from Auto Zeitung, raves from Gute Fahrt

German car magazine Auto Zeitung examined ten brands in the ultra performance series size 225 / 40R18 in its latest summer tire test. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 outperformed its second-place rival by a large margin. Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 has also become the recommended tire for fuel economy. On the other hand, Gute Fahrt Magazine tested eight summer tires in 245/40 R18Y, which are frequently preferred. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, which left the test by far, was the magazine's recommended tire for outstanding performance and was awarded the "Very Good +" rating in the general category.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 came to the fore as the only product that achieved the "very good" level in all criteria that it can perform, such as vehicle handling in wet / dry surfaces, ABS braking on wet / dry surfaces, aquaplaning resistance in vertical and lateral driving, and circular driving on wet ground.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 outperformed all its rivals in wet braking, even in a safety.

The editor of the magazine commented on the performance of the tire: “Goodyear's wet grip performance is the same, not just based on user feedback. zamIt's also pretty good at low rolling resistance. Behind this performance lies a huge amount of R&D work, because a tire can only achieve both low rolling resistance and high wet grip with the appropriate proportion of complex rubber compound.

Full points for the EfficientGrip 2 SUV series

In addition to the success of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tires, the EfficientGrip 2 SUV series also achieved full points in the tests of Auto Bild, one of Germany's leading automotive magazines. The magazine compared SUV tires of 10 different brands in an in-depth test of fifteen different performance criteria.

The EfficientGrip 2 SUV, which has proven itself with different performance features, not only gets the highest score in total, but also zamit was the only tire that managed to rank high in each of the criteria at the time. Reflecting the diverse needs of SUV drivers, the test measured wet and dry performance as well as traction on a wide range of terrain surfaces such as sand, gravel, grass and mud.

Goodyear Europe Marketing Director Piotr Nagalski said: “The SUV industry is one of the fastest growing industries in Europe. While drivers expected their vehicles to be versatile, we developed a tire that offers versatile performance for them. The high scores of the test-winning EfficientGrip 2 SUV tires in each of these challenging tests show that we have reached our goal of creating an SUV tire that does not force drivers to compromise on performance.

This consistent top performance, demonstrated in all fifteen tests, provides the innovation applied in the design of the EfficientGrip 2 SUV. Goodyear's Mileage Plus Technology, on the other hand, offers fuel savings and high performance thanks to its tooth elasticity and flexibility. Thanks to this innovative technology, harsh road conditions at various temperatures cause less damage to the tires.
