The circular issued by the Ministry of Commerce will eliminate the confusion regarding installments in automobile sales as it is in line with the BRSA decisions enacted at the end of 2020. A large number of brands were offering the consumer installment options by using the initiative. However, this had to be taken out of the brand initiative and made a standard.
Considering the installment advantage covering vehicles with different price ranges, we see that the circular targets all segments. Vehicles starting from 120 TL to 750 thousand TL in the sector take the biggest share in sales. The circular will increase the purchasing power of the vehicles included in these prices. Therefore, the 48 and 36 month installments introduced will create a significant advantage. We believe that we will quickly get the positive effects of the regulation especially for vehicles between 120 thousand TL and 750 thousand TL. We do not think that vehicles of 750 thousand TL and above, which we define as ultra luxury vehicles in the sector, will have an effect on the purchasing movement.
