BOM E-Team, founded by Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport for the development of e-sports in our country, achieved a double victory in the Assetto Corsa Competizione Teams Championship organized by Ortombo.
Since its establishment in 2018, BOM E-Team has been honoring the slogan 'The Path from Virtual to Reality' by opening the way to real tracks and signing success stories to young people. While BOM E-Team has made a name for itself by representing our country in national and international organizations with the championships it organizes and the team consisting of the e-athletes it has chosen, it has added a new one to its success.
Ortombo Assetto Corsa Competizione Teams Championship, in which 39 teams formed by 13 leading e-athletes of our country started, started in November 2020 and ended last week after a total of 10 races.
The other e-athletes of the team, Reha Aybey and Tunca Gönüldaş, came in second and fourth in the championship where BOM E-Team team captain Özgür Benzeş maintained his leadership from beginning to end and declared his championship. Exhibiting a complete teamwork, the team achieved a significant success by winning the title of the Teams Champion to the BOM E-Team, where they competed with the turquoise BMW M6 GT3.
