The ATMACA missile's domestic engine, KTJ-3200, was tested in November 2020

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, on November 23, 2020, Turkey's leading aerospace and defense company Kale Aero and Kale R & D Istanbul / Tuzla performing visits to The facility has examined the ongoing projects and had been informed. Later, the test of the domestic engine KTJ-3200 to be used in the SOM cruise missile and ATMACA anti-ship missile was successfully carried out.

President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. In his statement in July 2020, İsmail Demir gave the good news about the domestic engine KTJ-3200, which will be used in the SOM cruise missile and ATMACA anti-ship missile, one of the important projects of the Turkish defense industry. In the description of Demir, the domestic engine KTJ-3200, developed by KALE Group, which will power SOM and ATMACA missiles, is close. zamHe stated that we will see them integrated into these ammunition at the moment.

It was reported that the ATMACA cruise missile will have land-to-ground versions.

Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir stated in a statement in September 2020 that the land-to-ground versions of the ATMACA cruise missile were being worked on. In his speech, İsmail Demir stated that this capability can be achieved with the changes to be made on the ATMACA anti-ship cruise missile. Underlining that the Turkish Defense Industry has matured projects and products over air-to-sea, air-to-sea, and sea-to-sea cruise missiles, he said that there are activities aimed at developing cruise missiles from land to land. He said, "We expect them to be possible (land-to-land versions) with a few technological touches on Atmaca." had included his statements.

ATMACA anti-ship missile

ATMACA Missile, which can be used in all weather conditions, is effective against stationary and moving targets with its resistance to countermeasures, target update, retargeting, mission termination capacity and advanced mission planning system (3D routing). ATMACA, just like SOM, developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE and produced by ROKETSAN, is approaching the target. zamAt any moment, it can reach a higher altitude and dive 'from the top' to the target ship.

ATMACA has Global Positioning System, Inertial Measurement Unit, Barometric Altimeter, Radar Altimeter capabilities and locates its target with its active radar scanner with high accuracy. The hawk missile threatens its target beyond the line of sight with its 350 mm diameter, 1,4 meters wingspan, 220+ km range and 250 kg High Explosive Penetration Warhead capacity. Data link capability gives ATMACA target update, re-attack and mission termination features.

AKYA Heavy Torpedo

The works initiated within ArMerKom to meet the 533mm heavy torpedo requirement of the Naval Forces Command with national means, passed to a concrete stage in 2009 with the approval of the Turkish General Staff and the National Heavy Torpedo Development Project (AKYA) contract was signed with the SSM (today: SSB) and ArMerKom- It was signed between TÜBİTAK and Roketsan. AKYA's first test shot was carried out in the summer of 2013. For the first firing test, a 533mm torpedo shell was placed on a floating platform by Dz.KK. The sonar system of AKYA, whose design work is under the responsibility of ArMerKom, is developed by TÜBİTAK, while the warhead and guidance system are developed by Roketsan.
