But the situation is different when it comes to electric vehicles. China is clearly ahead in this segment. In China, in the first nine months of the year, 511 thousand electric cars were licensed. This figure is 418 thousand 140 in Europe. According to the figures, China tends towards electric models, while Europe prefers hybrid vehicles. Looking at the number of all the cars that got licensed and entered the traffic in the same period, China has doubled the number of new licensed vehicles in Europe with 17,1 million passenger cars.
