Minister Varank inaugurated the 1st Phase of the Fatih Foundry Mosque and Social Facility, which was restored and restored by the General Directorate of Foundations, Trakya Development Agency and Kırklareli Special Provincial Administration in Kırklareli Demirköy, and used as the first defense industry facility in the Ottoman Period.

To ensure that this place can be visited more comfortably, with our Trakya Development Agency and Special Provincial Administration; We completed the construction of the 1st Stage social facility area that changed the face of this place, such as a tourism information office, a small market where local people can sell, and a car park. The cost of this project has reached approximately one million liras.

HISTORICAL FATİH DUMPHOUSE
According to the information in historical sources, the cannons and cannonballs used by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in the conquest of Istanbul were made in the historical Demirköy Fatih Dökümhane. In the foundry where the advanced technology of the period was used, continuous production was carried out from the middle of the 15th century to the end of the 19th century.
