Irmak Zonguldak Railway Called as Coalway

Irmak - Zonguldak railway is the railway line between Irmak - Zonguldak - Kozlu.

Railway, 1931 - Between 1937 has been built by the Republic of Turkey State Railways connects the industrial port of Zonguldak coal mines and steel mills of central Anatolia and Kardemir. Because of its importance on Turkey's coal industry is referred to as the Railway kömüryol.

Karaelmas Express, a passenger train that operates between Ankara and Zonguldak three times a week, passes on the same line and its flights were stopped on January 1, 2010. Although it was replaced by the Zonguldak - Filyos Regional Train in 2014, it is now used mostly for freight transportation.
