TOFAŞ Doblo Model Extends Production Period by 1 Year

Tofaş Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş. extended the production period of Doblo model by 1 year.

In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following were recorded: “The Board of Directors decided to extend the production period of the Doblo model produced in the TOFAŞ Bursa factory by 1 year and to start investment studies. In this context, the duration of the project, which was announced to the public as 28.05.2013-2009 with a special case statement dated 2021, was extended until the end of 2022. In the 2009-2020 period, approximately 1,1 million units were produced within the scope of the project, and with the contribution of the new investment and extension of time, approximately 75 million 1 thousand units are targeted during the whole project period, 250 percent of which are for export markets. In this context, it is envisaged to make an investment of approximately 2021 million Euros until the end of 28, and the production of new motor vehicles is planned to start in the middle of 2021.
