Today, at 15:00, freight train 23222, which was traveling between Yozgat Yerköy and Karaosman Kördeve, crashed into train 23230 from behind. Material damage occurred in train wagons hit from behind. On the other hand, the crashing train derailed and 2 mechanics were injured in the accident. Two machinists who are being treated at the hospital are in good health and have no life risks.
Communication problems are shown as the cause of the accident, but the main reason will be explained as a result of official investigations. The works of getting the trains damaged in the accident on the track and opening the line to traffic continue.
