“Centrifuge Fan” purchased by ASELSAN from abroad, has been nationalized as a result of cooperation with Milpower company.
The nationalization efforts carried out to reduce foreign dependency in the defense industry continue without slowing down. One of the major companies operating in the defense industry of Turkey's ASELSAN which, through their work in this context, a product purchased abroad nationalized. “Centrifuge Fan” purchased by ASELSAN from abroad and subject to export license, was nationalized through the cooperation with Milpower company. This development is expected to reduce foreign dependency.

Considering the sustainability of the defense industry ecosystem as its main priority, ASELSAN continued to increase its support for its suppliers during the pandemic process. During this period, during which no disruptions were involved in the procurement processes, more than 5 thousand stakeholders continued to give new orders to the organizations.

In order to contribute to Turkey's strategic independence is Milpow founded in 2017, aims to produce local solutions to the Turkish Defense Industry. The company currently has R&D offices in Bilkent Cyberpark and Istanbul Technopark and a Test and Manufacturing workshop in Tuzla / Istanbul. Milpower, which has concentrated experience in power group design and integration, wheeled armored combat vehicle design, has started localization studies in this field and has reached the capacity to perform power group cooling fan design, analysis, production and tests in a short time.
The company develops cooling fans for use in land and air vehicles. Milpower sees it as the main goal to increase the localization rate of the projects produced with its works in the aforementioned field, which do not have domestic supply.
