Özyeğin University has been awarded the "Zero Waste Certificate" as a result of its waste management efforts within the scope of the "Zero Waste Project" carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. Istanbul Governor's Office of Environment and the official document that proclaimed by the Provincial Directorate of Urbanism Özyeğin University, was the first university in Istanbul and Turkey in the field of this document.
Özyeğin University has been awarded with a "Zero Waste Certificate" as a result of its efforts to use the resources it conducts in Çekmeköy in a healthy and efficient manner, to manage the wastes at their source, to collect them separately and to recycle them. - Hibya
