Maserati added Ghibli and Quattroporte to its Trofeo series, which it defines as the peak of performance, sportiness and luxury. The new members of the series, Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo, are equipped with powerful design features and integrated technologies, while maximizing their performance with the V8 engine. The Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo, which receive 3,8 HP and 8 Nm of torque from the 580-liter twin-turbocharged petrol V730 unit, reach 326 km / h and achieve the title of the fastest Maserati sedans ever produced.

Combining performance and design with super sports cars, Maserati opens another page in its history by expanding the performance series Trofeo. The brand added the Ghibli and Quattroporte models to the Trofeo series after Levante Trofeo, which was launched as the peak and strongest version of the SUV in 2018. Trofeo series to emphasize Maserati's purebred Italian identity; It sets out in the colors of the country's flag: green in Quattroporte, white in Levante and red in Ghibli. Bright red details support an aggressive and elegant look in line with the brand's performance series Trofeo. Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo derive their power from a 3,8-liter twin-turbocharged gasoline V8 unit, producing 580 HP and 730 Nm of torque.

The fastest Maserati sedans ever

The twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which was used in the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo, was produced in accordance with Maserati's technical specifications at the Ferrari factory in Maranello. Following the most powerful SUV Levante Trofeo, the specially optimized V8 engine was integrated into the Ghibli and Quattroporte to provide impressive performance for Masereti's sedan models as well. This unit, which was used for the first time in the history of the Ghibli model, was previously used in the Quattroporte GTS with its 530 HP version and was engraved in memory. At the point reached today, the 580 HP V8 engine came to life in the new Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante Trofeo models in compliance with fuel efficiency and emission standards. Drawing attention with its superior performance, the V8 engine makes the Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo the fastest Maserati sedans ever produced with a maximum speed of 326 km / h, while the Levante Trofeo reaches a maximum speed of 302 km / h.

Advanced driving systems

Like the Levante Trofeo, the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo duo are equipped with the Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) system, which brings along features such as advanced driving dynamics, more active safety and even more exciting driving performance. In the sedan models of the Trofeo series, there is also the "Corsa" mode, which gives the car a highly sporty driving character. In addition, "Launch Control", which was first introduced on the Levante Trofeo, releases all the engine power to deliver breathtaking performance and an immersive Maserati driving experience, is also included in the new duo of the Trofeo series.

Rear taillights inspired by 3200 GT and Alfieri Concept

While the unique signature of a Maserati is the impressive engine sound, the Trofeo versions also stand out with the special design touches that characterize performance cars. The piano black front grille with double vertical slats and the front ventilation duct and the carbon fiber inserts used in the rear air baffles are selected as design details that catch the eye at first glance. In addition, the entire Trofeo range is visually distinguished by red details emphasizing the lower edges of the side air outlets and the brand logo on the C-pillar. At the rear of the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo, the taillights, which have been completely renewed with a boomerang-like design inspired by the 3200 GT and the Alfieri Concept car, add a striking look to the series.

The engine hood of the redesigned Ghibli Trofeo, such as the Maserati Levante Trofeo, features two aggressively designed ventilation ducts for a more impressive appearance and a more effective exhaust of warm air. While the Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo models use 21-inch Orione aluminum alloy wheels, the Levante Trofeo uses 22-inch Orione aluminum alloy wheels. Details exclusive to the Trofeo versions continue in the interior. A new built-in panel that displays a custom interface when opened, and the three-dimensional embossed Trofeo logo on the headrests stand out as some of these details. Quality Pieno Fiore natural leather complements the original ambience of the interior.

Intelligent driving assistants blend performance with technology

The ADAS system has been developed to include new functions, and thanks to Active Driving Assistant, the assisted driving function can now be activated on urban roads or normal highways.

On the other hand, new technologies are also coming into play with the MIA (Maserati Smart Assistant). The Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo have a 10,1 inch multimedia screen with increased resolution and a larger size, while the Levante Trofeo has a 8,4 inch screen with improved resolution and graphics. In addition, thanks to the Maserati Connect program, connected services that offer ease of use and complement the user are activated in Trofeo versions.

The Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo will be produced at the Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant (AGAP) in Grugliasco (Turin) and the Levante Trofeo at the Mirafiori (Turin) factory.
