Mehtap Anıl, a theater and cinema artist who has been living in the İBB Artist Life House for the last 7 years, passed away. The artist will be buried today at 15:00 in Hekimbaşı Cemetery.
Mehtap Anıl, a theater and cinema artist, who is one of the residents of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's (IMM) Artist Life House in Kartal, died at 01:05 due to heart failure.
Anıl, who starred in many movies and TV series, became famous with the character "Kemikkıran Kadriye" in the TV series Muhtars of the District.
The funeral of the artist will be buried today at 15:00 in Hekimbaşı Cemetery as an interim burial.

Mehtap Anıl, a theater, TV series and cinema artist, was born in 1940 in Çatalca, Istanbul. Anıl, who also worked as an actor at the General Directorate of State Theaters, has appeared in many movies and TV series. He became famous with his character Kemikkıran Kadriye in the TV series Muhtars of the Neighborhood.
Mehtap Anıl was staying at the İBB Artist Living House in Kartal since 11.07.2013.
