Four Cylinder Engine Designed for Track
Variable valve at the heart of the new M RR zamhas a water-cooled, in-line, four-cylinder engine. As with the RR, BMW ShiftCam technology in the M RR can control the intake valves as required via a control camshaft. Depending on the speed, the valve opening interval and valve travel can be adjusted to provide the best performance for the M RR. The engine, which can turn 15.100 rpm, provides its maximum power of 212 hp at 14.500 rpm and offers its maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11.000 rpm. The engine, which is a modified version of the RR, has 2-ring forged pistons, titanium connecting rods, increased compression ratio to 13.5. The M RR, which is 5 kg lighter than the RR with its exclusive Akrapovic exhaust system and carbon rims, can reach a speed of 0 to 200 km / h in 6 to 7 seconds.

Aerodynamics stands out as one of the most important features that have been decisive in the work to improve the technical features of the M RR. With the maximum performance required to win a race, the M RR is able to ensure the best possible contact of the wheels with the road while accelerating. The instrument panel of the new M RR has the same basic design and M start animation as the RR. The 6.5 inch TFT screen with convenient OBD interface is perfectly readable with its dimensions and resolution.
