Mümtaz Ener (1907 - July 11, 1989), Turkish film actor, screenwriter and director.
He was born in 1907 in Muğla. After coming to Istanbul, he graduated from Kadıköy Aşiyan High School. In 1923, he appeared on the stage for the first time in the musical Nightingale at the Istanbul Operetta. He worked with Raşit Rıza, Sadi Tek and Muhlis Sabahattin groups. He appeared in front of the camera for the first time with the film Yılmaz Ali, shot in 1940.
Mümtaz Ener, who played in 317 films in total, wrote the script of 4 films and directed 7 films.
He died on July 11, 1989.
