Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir stated that the city hospital tender process was completed and that the foundation would be laid in a short time after the preparations.

The tender of our 1000-bed city hospital was made in Samsun. The foundation will be laid and construction will start soon. This hospital will be the occasion of pride and the sign of the city, ”their statements aroused great excitement in the city. Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir wished the hospital to be beneficial to Samsun. Reminding that the tender process started with the completion of the ground studies last April, Mayor Demir said, “The tender process is over. The construction of Samsun city hospital will begin in a short time. As our Minister of Health stated during his visit to Samsun, I hope we will lay the foundation once the preparations are completed ”.
The City Hospital, which will be built on an area of 234 thousand 371 square meters in Canik district, will have a 900 bed capacity. Apart from general treatment units within the hospital, an oncology hospital, a nuclear medicine center equipped with the latest technology examination devices, cardiovascular surgery and chest center, genetic diseases center where the treatment process of genetic diseases will be managed, reproductive assisted treatment center, organ and tissue transplantation center, stroke center, burns The center will also include 40 operating rooms and 1 hybrid operating room. The hospital, whose rooms will be designed as single beds, will also have an intensive care unit with a capacity of 200 beds.
