60 teachers were appointed by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) within the scope of the appointment of 20 thousand contracted teachers in 19 fields throughout Turkey. Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk attended the ceremony held at the Ministry's Head Teacher Hall for the appointment of contract teachers.
Minister Selçuk reminded that they made the opening of the academic year yesterday, in the speech he delivered at the appointment ceremony, where the candidates did not attend within the scope of the new type of Coronavirus (Kovid-19) measures.
Expressing that they wish their schools to be opened as soon as possible, Selçuk said that 20 thousand more teachers are included in the education family today.

Ömer Inan, the General Manager of the Ministry of National Education, stated that with this appointment, the number of teachers will reach 977 thousand and the occupancy rate will reach 93 percent throughout the country.

The provinces and schools where the candidates were assigned were shared on the screen in the hall. 19 contract teachers were appointed to work in the ministry staff.
