TUBITAK Center of Excellence Opening Ceremony was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and senior figures. Within the scope of the ceremony, the new Environmental Tests Center building of TÜBİTAK SAGE was opened with remote connection.
TUBITAK SAGE Environmental Test Center thanks to weapons systems projects in all environmental condition testing, especially, will be conducted in Turkey in the international standard describing President Erdogan, however, the design of the national ammunition with a new research and development service building established in the SAGE site, software and said it would conduct a strategic study in the simulation field.

TÜBİTAK SAGE Institute Director Gürcan Okumuş, who was connected to the ceremony held in Kocaeli remotely - with an online connection - made important statements.
“As TÜBİTAK SAGE, we have been working in our defense industry with the aim of developing our own unique products and full independence with innovative technologies since the day we were founded. Laid out in Turkey in recent years alileriniz person with the vision to be used in its platform and this platform has gained the ability to produce ammunition design. TÜBİTAK SAGE also realizes important projects in this direction in accordance with its establishment. As of 2020, the number of products developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE and included in the inventory of our Turkish Armed Forces reached 9. The order amount received by our defense industry for these products in the last 5 years has been over 7 billion TL. With the infrastructure we have gained with the support of our state, we have strengthened our strength with our R&D engineering building behind us and Europe's largest environmental testing center.
Upon the question of President Erdogan, Okumuş stated that TÜBİTAK SAGE has approximately one thousand personnel.
