TUBITAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technology Research Center (WISE), with technology developed in the defense sector continues to lead to the strengthening of Turkey. With the "Metal Mine Detector Supply Agreement" signed between the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, 807 Foldable Metal Mine Detectors-OZAN were delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces. The OZAN system, which was developed 100% nationally and originally by TÜBİTAK engineers, successfully completed the performance tests.

Developed for fast, easy and high accuracy search for mines and hand-made explosives carried out by our soldiers in cross-border and intra-border transit zones, OZAN will be one of the most important assistants of the TSK in the field with its lightness, size and ability to complete missions.
Stands Out With Its Advanced Features
With its compact structure and low weight of 1,5 kg, the OZAN system was designed taking into account the needs of the security units operating in the operation area. OZAN, one of the lightest metal mine detectors in the world, provides ease of transportation to security units in large areas. The system, whose false alarm rate is minimized, offers three different detection warnings to the operator, namely audible, visual and vibrating warnings, in target detection. With the graphic LCD screen on the system, the metal density of the detected target can be easily observed.
In addition, the OZAN system, which can operate with full accuracy in all weather conditions, was certified by meeting MIL-STD 810G and IP-67 environmental test standards and MIL-STD 1472F ergonomics standard.
