In Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., in the January-June 2020 period, net sales decreased compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following were recorded: “In the January-June 2020 period, net sales decreased by 25 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 421,4 million TL. This decrease was due to the effects of Covid-19 and the 61 percent contraction in export volume. On the other hand, the domestic net sales, which increased by 35 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, more than the growth in the commercial vehicle market, partially compensated for the contraction in exports. In the January - June period of 2020, it is seen that the total number of sales of the automotive market was 262 percent above the previous year with 30 thousand units. In this period, the light commercial vehicle market increased by 30 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the heavy commercial vehicle market, the truck segment grew by 39 percent, the midibus segment by 26 percent and the bus market by 30 percent.
