The changes made in the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) on cars affected the companies traded in the stock exchange as well as the car prices. It produces 90 percent of the cars sold in the Bursa factory in Turkey has risen in the day the shares in Tofas who process the Istanbul Stock Exchange.

The shares of Doğuş Otomotiv, which sold brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat, fell by 4 percent to 14.98 TL. Turkey's Ford Otosan is one of the valuable commercial vehicle manufacturer, to be imported passenger cars it sells securities on the stock market suffered the loss.
Ford Otosan's shares also fell 2.6 percent during the day and fell to 85.5 TL. the excise duty changes, the most preferred car set with engine capacity not exceeding 1.6 liters models in Turkey, 130 thousand TL tax rates exceeding 80 percent will no longer be exposed to SCT.
