TikTok CEO Kevin Mayer resigns

Kevin Mayer, CEO of the video sharing app TikTok, said he resigned. Mayer, from The Walt Disney Company in June 2020, used the following statements:

“In recent weeks, as the political environment has changed sharply, I have thought long and hard about what changes in the institutional structure will entail and what it means for the global role I am a part of.”

Written by Mayer for his employees and captured by CNBC, the letter continues: “This is very close against the ground. zamI wanted to inform all of you that I decided to leave the company, although we hoped to reach a solution at once. Kevin It had only been three months since Mayer took this post.
