IzQ Entrepreneurship Center Project: Entrepreneurship Support Agreement Signed

The "IzQ Entrepreneurship Center Project" support contract approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology was signed at the ceremony held with the participation of İzmir Governor and İZKA Board Chairman Mr. Yavuz Selim KÖŞGER and İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO) Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mahmut ÖZGENER.

It is aimed to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in İzmir with the project, which is entitled to receive 5 Million TL support within the scope of the project support of İzmir Development Agency and has a total budget of 16 Million TL. The center, whose construction is planned to start this year, is aimed to be put into service in 2021.

The center, which will include shared office and common use areas for entrepreneurs, will contribute positively to the competitiveness of the Izmir economy with its activities to support entrepreneurs.

Full Support to the Project from Governor KÖŞGER

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Governor Mr. KÖŞGER emphasized that these formations are very important in the process of transforming entrepreneurs' business ideas into products and commercializing them, and that the Izmir Chamber of Commerce as well as Izmir's leading official institutions and non-governmental organizations are involved in the project as partners. He stated that he showed the importance he gave and that this was pleasing for İzmir.

Creative Ideas Will Turn into Commercial Products with the Contribution of İZTO

Noting the complementary nature of the project with the "Innovation Center" project carried out by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Chairman of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Mr. that they have implemented.

ÖZGENER emphasized that they will work with IzQ Entrepreneurship Center to make İzmir a center of attraction for entrepreneurs from all over the world.
