The General Directorate of Security conducted a speed check in 22 provinces simultaneously on 23, 24 and 81 August.
According to the written statement made by the EGM, simultaneous speed checks were implemented across the country on 22, 23 and 24 August in order to direct the drivers to drive in a form suitable for traffic rules, prohibitions and restrictions and to prevent traffic accidents caused by speed violations.
While 57 thousand 547 vehicles and drivers were inspected, 36 thousand 372 speed violations were detected and the process was carried out.
