Turkey's First Amphibious Assault Ship TCG Anatolia

TCG TCG Anatolia Anatolia or L-400, the construction period, in terms of the main configuration amphibious assault ship (LHD) is Turkey's first ship entered the classroom. Built in line with the needs of the Turkish navy, TCG Anadolu will be able to have 8 fully equipped helicopters. 1 battalion will be able to dispatch a full-fledged soldier to the desired area. It is considered that the ship, which is suitable for intercontinental missions, will actively continue its mission in the Black Sea, Aegean and Mediterranean.

With its 12-degree inclination, TCG Anadolu will facilitate the take-off of warplanes over it, thus providing convenience in the use of aircraft other than helicopters. Progressing to take part in TCG Anadolu zamIt is also planned to order a Lockheed Martin F-35B model, which can take off and land vertically in moments. The ship, which will be used for the purpose of multipurpose amphibious assault ship, is capable of carrying 1400 people. It will be able to land 1 amphibian battalion to the desired area without the need for communication, combat and support vehicles. TCG Anadolu will have a military hospital with a capacity of at least 700 beds, including operating room, dental treatment units, and intensive care and infection rooms. It is planned to be launched in 8 and to start working at the Naval Forces Command.
