Chairman Şahin Examines GAZİRAY Works On-Site

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, together with her technical team, examined the ongoing GAZİRAY works on the D-400 Highway, known as the historical Silk Road. President Şahin stated that they have come a long way in GAZİRAY, which will carry 100 thousand passengers a day. zamHe said that they will order the trams at once.

Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin went to the field with her technical team, especially Latif Karadağ and Erdem Güzelbey, one of the Deputy Mayors of Metropolitan Municipality, in order to see the works in the GAZİRAY project. Meeting with the workers on the D-400 Highway and getting information about the latest situation, Mayor Şahin then went to Kalyon Junction, City Hospital location, Öğümsöğüt and Işıklı rural neighborhoods of Şehitkamil district and examined the asphalt and road works that are under construction and completed.

PRESIDENT ŞAHİN: WE ORDER OUR TRAMWAYS

Making a statement on the subject, Mayor Fatma Şahin, noting that GAZİRAY is a very important project for the city, said, “We are on the D-400 Highway. We are converting the train line in the Organized Industrial Zone, where 100 thousand passengers will be transported per day, to a high-speed train. Now, we have swam swam to the tail. Our last year. ŞAHİN: GAZİRAY OFFERED US THE OPPORTUNITY TO RENEW THE CITY ON THE SIDE

Stating that there are serious road renewal works with GAZİRAY, Chairman Şahin said, “We have restructured 16 craft areas such as the Karşıyaka Tunnel. We continue to replace the pipes, which also include the infrastructure. In addition, we examined our intensive work in the vicinity of Mücahitler Mahallesi, where GAZİRAY overtime continues. Currently, a large pipe laying of approximately 15 million liras is being carried out in the infrastructure in this region. The GAZİRAY project also provided us with the opportunity to renew the city. We ask our people to be patient during this process. Because we are striving for a project that will ease transportation. GAZİRAY is Gaziantep's biggest issue. Huge investments are being made. These investments require both serious resources and patience. We want our people to be patient as well. We will leave the D-1 Highway in 400 month and we will make the transportation ready for vehicles with zero asphalt.”
