According to data released by the Chinese Automotive Industry Association, China's automobile production rose 22,5 percent year-on-year and 11,6 percent in sales on an annual basis.

The data also showed that in June, China's automobile production increased by 2 percent compared to the previous month with 325 million 6,3 thousand and sales increased by 2 percent with 300 million 4,8 thousand.

Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Automotive Industry Association, said that the recovery trend in China's automotive industry continued in June, and that production and sales increased both on a year-on-year basis.

Pointing out that the performance in the automotive industry was better than expected in the first half of the year, Chen said that in the first six months of the year, China's car production decreased by 16,8 percent and its sales decreased by 16,9 percent, and these decreases were compared to the first five months of the year. He stated that he narrowed 7,3 and 5,7 points.

According to the Union's data, in the first half of the year, China's new energy car production decreased by 397 percent year-on-year, with 36,5 thousand, and sales decreased by 393 percent with 37,4 thousand. The declines narrowed slightly compared to the first five months of the year.
