Morgan Freeman (born June 1, 1937) is an American actress, producer and voice actor. Freeman won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 2005 for her Million Baby movie. Street Smart received an Academy nomination for her films, The Driver of Miss Daisy, The Cost of Bondage and The Invincible.

Morgan Freeman was born on June 1, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee. Barber was born to the son of Morgan Porterfield Freeman and teacher Mayme Edna. Freeman has three older siblings. According to DNA tests, some of their ancestors are from Niger.
