Charlize Theron (Born August 7, 1975, Benoni) is a South African and American film artist. In 2003, he was awarded an Oscar for Best Actress.
Charlize Theron was born in Benoni, South Africa. Her mother Gerda was German and her father Charles Theron was of French origin. His mother and father ran a road construction company. When Theron was 15 years old, his mother shot his father in an argument, and Theron's father passed away. Her mother was not punished for defending herself. She started taking ballet lessons at the age of 6 and modeling at the age of 16. However, after a while, he injured his knee and ended up being a ballerina without being professional. While Theron had a heated argument with a bank employee, he was discovered by his acting manager, John Crosby. Theron took his first step into acting by calling Crosby, who bought his business card.
Since 2001, his association with Irish actor Stuart Townsend ended in early 2011. He adopted Jackson Theron in November 2011 and August in 2015.
The Hollywood Reporter ranked # 2006 behind Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Renée Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon, and Nicole Kidman for $ 10,000,000 per movie for North Country and Fluon Flux films on the 7 Top-Rated Actress list took place.
Theron became an American citizen in 2007, retaining South African citizenship.
