Chevrolet, Zora name was registered in many countries, Turkey To Be

US automaker Chevrolet has applied for registration in many countries of the world for its new model "Zora".

The company, which was covered by the registration process began in 2014, America, Canada, and Switzerland, and Turkey is also in many countries including Australia, including the 30 "Zora" is the name of the rights of the bottom.

Chevrolet recently made an application for registration in the Philippines on February 14, 2020.

On the website of the Turkish Patent Institute, the company registered its name "Zora" in 12th grade to include "Motor vehicles and parts thereof" commodities.

The name Zora comes from the name of Zora Arkus-Duntov, who is considered the “father” of Chevrolet.

When Chevrolet's applications for this name appeared for the first time, Zora was suggested to be the new name of the C8 Corvette.

Instead, the current C8 was called Stringay. Now, it is suggested that the Zora label will be used for the performance version of the C8, which will be presented in the future. It is said that the performance model in question will come with a hybrid unit.

Corvette Zora is claimed to produce 5.5 horsepower and 7 Nm of torque with the electric-powered version of the 1,000-liter twin-turbo LT1,355 engine.

Zora is expected to be introduced in 2023 and to be released in 2024.
