Minister of National Defense Akar and Commanders Celebrated with Mehmetçik on the Border Line

The Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar accompanied the Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler, the Commander of the Land Forces Gen. Ümit Dündar, the Commander of the Air Forces Gen. Hasan Küçükakyüz and the Admiral Adnan Özbal, the Commander of the Navy, and the night on the border line of the Syrian border.

In the morning, Minister Akar and Commanders, who fled with the commandos involved in the operations against terrorists in the north of Syria, and the measures taken within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic, then moved to the Operation Center, where the activities in Idlib and Afrin were dispatched and managed.

Celebrating the feast of the staff working here, Minister Akar then talked to the security of the border line with the video conferencing method with the commanders of the troops in the operation regions in the north of Syria and Iraq.

Following the instructions of Minister Akar, who received information about the activities and the latest situation in the field, the commanders of the union said, "Our morale and motivation is extremely high."

Stating that not everyone will be able to celebrate in operational conditions, in pursuit of terrorists at the borders, Minister Akar said, “The Armed Forces, as a whole, is fighting terrorism on the one hand and the coronavirus on the other. We are going through busy days, difficult tasks. We have successfully fulfilled the duties assigned to us for the security of our homeland and nation, and we will continue to do so in the future. Levent Akver, a specialist officer who worked in the Ministry of National Defense with all the citizens who died due to coronavirus, and Minister Akar, who expressed his condolences to the worker Avni Öztürk, said: “I wish our martyrs a mercy from Allah, and urgent healing to our veterans. I present my gratitude and gratitude for the great sacrifice and contributions we have come to these days ”.

Minister Akar completed his speech by celebrating the Ramadan Feast of all the personnel working selflessly in difficult terrain and weather conditions.
