
Double Award to Porsche Taycan at the Car of the Year Award. Porsche's first electric sports car, Taycan, received the first prize in the 'Cars of the Year' category in the World of the Year Awards 2020 (WCOTY) and the 'Best Luxury Car of the World' categories.
Porsche Taycan was the first car to see the checkered flag in the "World's Best Luxury Car" and "Performance Car of the Year" categories of the World Car of the Year Awards 2020 (WCOTY) this year. Competing with Porsche 911 and 718 Spyder / Cayman GT4 in the World Performance Car of the Year Award category, Taycan rope is at the forefront. Porsche Taycan also won the World's Best Luxury Car Award. In the jury, 86 international automotive journalists rated more than 50 new cars.
Michael Steiner, member of the Board of Management of Porsche Research and Development, said: “These two awards crown the goals we set for the Taycan model. We wanted to create a driver-focused, fully electric sports car that can compete with any performance car.
