According to the statement made by the Head of Communications, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not accept the resignation of Süleyman Soylu.

It is a fact that the coronavirus epidemic also includes health services, food supply and public safety aspects.
Our Minister of Internal Affairs has ensured that there is no problem in public security in our country during this period with its successful works carried out for over a month.

Our Minister submitted his request for resignation to our President and stated that he did not find this request appropriate.

It is his own discretion that an owner of the office submit his resignation, but the final decision belongs to our President.
The resignation of our Minister of Interior has not been accepted, he will continue to serve.
