Interesting Penalty for Tourists Who Do Not Comply with the Curfew from Indian Police

An interesting penalty was given to tourists who do not comply with the curfew in India, which has been declared a curfew to combat the corona virus. Tourists who do not comply with the ban were sentenced 500 times to write "I apologize for breaking the curfew".

In India, a curfew was declared as part of the fight against the corona virus outbreak. Within the scope of the ban, citizens are only allowed to go out for short periods to meet their basic needs. But other than that, the police, who applied different methods such as striking a stick for those who went out, gave an interesting punishment to a group of tourists who did not comply with the curfew. The police officer, who sentenced 500 people to write the words “I apologize for violating the curfew”, said that they wanted to teach the tourists with the sentence.

Indian police previously tried to show people that the virus could be everywhere and raise awareness by wearing a virus-shaped helmet to draw attention to the corona virus epidemic.

On the other hand, curfew in India, which is struggling with the corona virus outbreak, has been extended for two more weeks, which will normally end on April 14.

So far, there have been 10,815 cases, 1,190 healing and 353 deaths in the country.
