Audi has decided to recall 107 thousand cars due to the manufacturing defect in the airbags.
Audi's 2000 and 2001 TT Roadster, 2000 model TT Coupe, 1998 model A8, and A1998 and A2000 cars produced in 6-8 will be recalled due to manufacturer Takata's manufacturing defect in the airbags.
It has been reported that brands such as Audi, BMW, Honda, Daimler Vans, Fiat Chrysler, Ferrari, Ford, General Motors, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen have been affected by the error caused by the production defect in the airbags of the Japanese manufacturer Takata.
In a statement on January 9, Takata decided to recall vehicles with 10 million airbags due to a manufacturing defect that caused the airbags to burst or with a lot of pressure.
The company sent a warning letter to car owners about this. The parts of the vehicles recalled from the beginning of March will be replaced.
In total, 70 million vehicles are in the process of recall
Due to faulty airbags, 19 automotive manufacturers around the world are preparing to recall 70 million vehicles in total. It is estimated that the airbags produced by Takata between 1995 and 2000 are in a total of 100 million vehicles.
