2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI and GTE Hybrid Introduced: Volkswagen introduced the 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI, the latest generation of the performance-oriented hatchback, and its hybrid version, the 2021 Golf GTE. 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI

Known as the eighth generation of the 2021 Volkwagen Golf GTI, the new GTI comes with a 241-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 370 horsepower and 2,0 Nm of torque. The vehicle, which will be offered for sale in Europe as a standard 6-speed manual transmission version, is the same zamIt will also have a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission option.

The new Golf GTI comes as standard with 17-inch alloy wheels called "Richmond", but optionally offers a larger 18- and 19-inch wheels option.

If we look at the interior of the 2021 Volkswagen GTI, we first encounter a dual-spoke sports steering wheel with touch controls. The vehicle also has a 10,25 inch digital instrument panel and a 10 inch multimedia screen. The new Golf GTI offers ambient lighting in 30 different color options and features a red flashing start-stop button when the doors are opened.

2021 Volkswagen Golf GTE

Volkswagen also introduced the 2021 Golf GTE model. Under the hood of the new Golf GTE, there is a 1,4-liter turbocharged gasoline and electric engine, and the vehicle produces a total of 241 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Thanks to the support of the electric motor, the New Golf GTE looks better than the New Golf GTI.

The new Golf GTE, which comes with a 6-speed DSG transmission as standard, can reach a maximum speed of 128 km / h using only the electric motor, and it can also cover a 60 km road with full electric power. The plug-in hybrid New Golf GTE computes road and topographic data to find the best route, and the 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTE constantly updates its charging settings to achieve maximum range.

Volkswagen has not yet announced the pricing and release date of both models, but it is predicted that vehicles will be on display for the first time at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, which will open its doors next week, in the second half of the year.
