Passenger car exports up 13 percent in last month

In December, exports to France, our largest market for passenger cars, increased by 19 percent, while there was an increase of 61 percent to Italy, 57 percent to Germany, 17 percent to Israel, 34 percent to Slovenia, and 83 percent to Egypt. There was a 21 percent decrease in exports to the UK, 33 percent to Poland and 35 percent to the USA.

Exports to the United Kingdom, which is the country with the most exports in Motor Vehicles for Transport of Goods, decreased by 50 percent in December, while exports to Italy increased by 37 percent, to Slovenia by 78 percent and to Belgium by 51 percent. Again, last month, in the Bus Minibus Midibus product group, exports to France increased by 50 percent, while exports to Germany decreased by 19 percent, to Italy by 40 percent and to Romania by 67 percent.

Germany again becomes the largest market

In last year's automotive exports, Germany was again the country with the highest exports with 4 billion 373 million dollars. Last year, exports to Germany fell by 8 percent to Italy, 11 percent to the United Kingdom, 16,5 percent to Belgium, 20 percent to Slovenia, 12 percent to Slovenia, and 28 percent to the Netherlands.

In the last month of last year, Germany also maintained its position as the country with the most exports on a monthly basis. Exports to Germany decreased by 0,4 percent to 337 million dollars. Exports to the EU increased by 3,5 percent last month

On the basis of the country group, EU countries became the biggest market in automotive exports with 76,6 percent share and 23 billion 434 million dollars export in the whole year.

In December, the EU countries with 74,3 percent share and 1 billion 890 million dollars took the first place in exports again. Exports to EU countries increased by 3,5 percent. In December, African countries increased by 12 percent, other European countries by 50 percent, Middle East countries and the Commonwealth Country Group exports increased by 18 percent.
