With the increasing demand for zero-emission vehicles, Hyundai has started to focus on production of KONA Electric for its customers in Europe. Hyundai, which will start producing KONA Electric at the Nosovice plant in Czech Republic as of March, will continue the existing production at its facilities in Ulsan. 3,300 people work at Hyundai's factory in Nosovice and can produce about 1,500 vehicles a day. With the i30, Tucson and KONA EV models produced at the factory, the annual capacity reaches 350.000 units.
