National Railway Signaling Project

For the first time in our country in railway projects, within the scope of TUBITAK 1007 Program, in order to nationalize the signaling systems obtained from abroad; TCDD, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and İTÜ National Railway Signalization Project (UDSP) have been successfully completed and prototype work has been completed and commissioned at Mithatpaşa (Adapazarı) station.

●● Within the scope of the project, three main components have been developed: the interlocking system (signaling system decision center), traffic control center and hardware simulator, which are considered as the most important elements of the signaling systems.

●● It is aimed to expand the National Railway Signaling System throughout the country and manufacturing works are continuing in national signaling between Afyon-Denizli-Isparta / Burdur and Denizli-Ortaklar. Upon completion of this line, for the first time, a signal project will be made on a main line section of our network, all of which have national design and design.

●● Within the scope of the project; Horsunlu-Buharkent stations were commissioned on Denizli-Ortaklar line. National signal interlocking systems are carried out by TÜBİTAK and roadside signaling works are carried out by TCDD.
