Length of Akçaray Tram Line Up to 20 Kilometers; Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality extended the Akçaray Tram Line between the Bus Station and Sekapark Training Campus up to the Beach Road. The new line, 11, was completed on Monday (November). The first test drive of the new line recently, Mayor Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın had done it. With the addition of the newly opened tram line to the existing tram line, the length of the tram line in Kocaeli has increased to 20 kilometers.
NEW LINE OPENED TO SERVICE
The new line of the Akçaray tram, which was put into service by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, opened to Sekerpark Training Campus and Plajyolu. The first phase of Seka State Hospital - School District was completed by the Metropolitan. With the second stage of Sekapark Training Campus, the new line extending to the Beach Road ended. The first test drive of the new line of President Tahir Büyükakın'ın, opened to the use of citizens.
THE LINE REACHING KURUCEŞME WILL COME
Sekapark Training Campus and the new line extending to Plajyolu were opened. This line will then be extended by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality to Kuruçeşme. Metropolitan Municipality, which is going to tender in 2020 year, will start to build Kuruçeşme line. Works for the line reaching the City Hospital from the bus station area will also start rapidly.
