Borusan Otomotiv's distributor in Turkey where BMW Motorrad was marked by Europe's largest motorcycle trade fair EICMA 2019 newest models. F 900 R and F 900 XR, which are prepared to become one of the newest representatives of BMW in the middle segment, made their world presentation at EICMA 2019. The new BMW S 1000 XR, which underwent a thorough refurbishment operation, also made its debut at the fair.

In addition to the latest mass production models, BMW Motorrad also exhibited its concept motorcycles, which provided insight into the future models of the brand. The BMW Motorrad Concept R 18 / 2, designed with inspiration from boxer engines that have an important place in BMW's history, represents a more modern version of the BMW Motorrad Concept R 18 introduced in early summer. The BMW Motorrad Concept R 2 / 1800 features a modern air and oil cooling design inspired by the aesthetics of the 18.

Brand new BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR Series

BMW Motorrad's biggest surprise at the EICMA 2019 was the dynamic roadster F 900 R and the F 900 XR in the Adventure Sport segment. Focusing on the mid-segment, which is increasing in popularity with each passing day, BMW Motorrad manages to offer high-end driving pleasure and advanced technology in both models developed specifically for this segment. These two models, which basically share the same infrastructure, are able to offer quite different driving characters. F 900 R, which is appealing to those looking for sporty use in terms of its more aggressive design, stands out with its pleasant sound, high torque and being a daily motorcycle.

Competition in the middle class will be heated

BMW F 900 XR, another of BMW's new mid-range representatives, combines sportiness and long-distance pleasure. Inspired by the BMW S 1000 XR, the BMW F 900 XR combines sporty driving dynamics with GS-like ergonomics that are essential to the Adventure Sport segment, giving the driver and aftershock a unique pleasure on long journeys. Both models feature an 6.5 inch color TFT display as standard, making it easy to talk by phone, listen to music, or track navigation information. Thanks to its high lighting capacity, the indicators can be followed easily in all kinds of road and light conditions.

F 900 XR will also set standards in the mid-segment with features such as Adaptive Bend Lighting from the upper segment, keyless driving and the Intelligent Emergency Call System. Both models feature LED differences and connectivity, as well as ESA, Riding Modes Pro, which allows the selection of driving modes, Gear Assist Assistant for fast gear change, ABS Pro, MSR, DTC, DBC and RDC are optional. . Both models feature Riding Modes, which allow you to choose between 'Rain' and 'Road' driving modes, as well as the ABS and ASC, which can be deactivated, providing stability control. The BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR feature a new in-line two-cylinder engine, which was previously used in the F 850 GS, but was overhauled specifically for these two models. The new engine, whose volume has been increased from 853 cc to 895 cc, produces 105 hp and 112 Nm maximum torque. The MSR system offered in the BMW F 900 XR prevents the rear wheel from locking during braking. In this way, the F 900 XR is much safer.

New BMW S 1000 XR

BMW's representative in the most preferred Adventure Sport bike segment, the BMW S 1000 XR, also met motorcycle lovers for the first time in EICMA 2019 after a comprehensive make-up operation. With the renewal of the engine and suspension systems, the new BMW S 10 XR, which has a structure 1000 kg lighter than its predecessor, weighs only 226 kg. In addition to systems such as the new BMW S 1000 XR, Dynamic ESA, riding modes Pro, ABS Pro & DTC and Hill Start Control Pro; It attracts attention with its 6.5 inch color TFT screen and full LED lighting. RIDE & STYLE collection introduced

BMW Motorrad's new equipment collection RIDE & STYLE was also introduced. The 2020 collection, which also includes the Heritage series that refers to the past, was presented to BMW Motorrad enthusiasts with useful products with stylish design.
