In cooperation with Elbistan Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Training Center (KETEM) and Elbistan Cemre Association, a public training was organized for women in the ELSİAD meeting hall. Experts informed women about Cancer disease, the importance of early diagnosis and prevention methods.
KETEM Responsible Physician Dr. Didem Erdogan made a presentation and explained the details. Erdogan said, “We do Cervical Cancer screening for women between the ages of 30 and 65, Breast Cancer for women between the ages of 40 and 69, and Bowel Cancer for women and men between the ages of 50 and 70, for free. Groups with appointments are also offered free transportation. In addition, mammography scans are made by female staff with the latest technology mammography device in our center. I invite all women in the relevant age groups to KETEM to have their screening controls ”.
Erdogan also said that citizens who want to have cancer screening can make an appointment by calling the KETEM appointment line on 0538 336 7300 or by calling 0344 415 0426. The program ended with Cemre Association President Halide Yıldırım's speech of thanks to KETEM Responsible Physician Didem Erdoğan.
